食品夥伴網訊 2022年3月3日，據歐盟食品安全局（EFSA）消息，應歐盟委員會要求，歐盟動物飼料添加劑和產品（FEEDAP）研究小組就一種內切-1,4-β-木聚糖酶（endo‐1,4‐β‐xylanase ）作為母豬飼料添加劑的安全性和有效性發表科學意見。
據了解，該添加劑是由桔綠木霉（IMI SD 135）生產的。部分原文報道如下：
Following a request from the European Commission, the Panel on Additives and Products or Substances used in Animal Feed (FEEDAP) was asked to deliver a scientific opinion on the efficacy of HOSTAZYM? X as a feed additive for sows in order to have benefits in piglets. This additive co
nsists of endo-1,4-β-xylanase produced by a non-genetically modified strain of Trichoderma citroviride. The additive is to be used in sows at 1,500 EPU/kg feed. In a previous opinion, the FEEDAP Panel could not co
nclude on the efficacy of the additive when added to feed for sows in order to have benefits in piglets. The applicant provided new efficacy data to complete the assessment of the efficacy of the additive. ba
